Calibration Interval Recommender

Select your equipment type, usage pattern, and criticality to get a recommended calibration interval based on ISO 9001 best practices.

How calibration intervals are determined

ISO 9001:2015 Clause 7.1.5 requires calibration at "specified intervals" but does not mandate specific frequencies. Your intervals should reflect equipment type, usage frequency, environmental conditions, and historical stability.

This tool uses typical interval ranges from UK manufacturing practice, adjusted for your usage pattern and criticality level. The output is a starting recommendation — your quality system should document the actual interval chosen and its justification.
