UKAS Scope Statement Checklist
A UKAS logo on a calibration laboratory’s website tells you the laboratory is accredited for something. It does not tell you it is accredited for your measurement. The schedule of accreditation is the document that does, and this checklist is how to read one against the instrument you are about to send — quantity, range, and the capability the laboratory can actually achieve. Sixteen checks across four stages, from before you send the instrument to what to look for on the certificate that comes back.
