Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the billing page at any time. Plan and billing-interval changes take effect immediately, and Stripe applies a pro-rated charge or credit on your next invoice for the unused part of the current period. Cancellation keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. No long-term contracts and no per-user add-on fees.

Annual billing saves around 15% versus monthly (Starter £296/year vs £348, saves £52; Pro £602/year vs £708, saves £106). Billed up-front for the full year, renews automatically. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time from the billing page — the switch takes effect immediately and Stripe applies a pro-rated charge or credit on your next invoice for the time already paid. The 14-day trial works the same regardless of which interval you pick at signup.

Starter supports up to 3 users sharing the same workspace (a quality manager + a workshop supervisor + a quality engineer, for example). Invite teammates by email from the Team settings — they get a 7-day link, click it, sign up if needed, and join your workspace. Pro removes the seat cap — unlimited users on the same workspace, capped only by the 500-instrument limit.

You’ll see a banner at 80% and a hard stop at 100% — new instrument creation is blocked, but existing instruments stay editable. Upgrade to Pro to unlock 500-instrument capacity. Existing data is never lost or hidden when you change plans.

You keep full access until the end of your paid period. After cancellation, your workspace enters a 30-day grace where you can still export or reactivate; on day 31 your calibration data and certificate PDFs are permanently deleted. The audit log is retained for 7 years from the date each entry was recorded to support ISO 9001 / ISO/IEC 17025 audit cycles (a documented business-policy period, not an ISO-mandated duration) — that is the only category we keep beyond day 31. Pro tier includes Export Everything, and a compliance-bypass makes it available even if your subscription has lapsed, so leaving with your data is never gated.
