Why you need a calibration schedule
ISO 9001:2015 Clause 7.1.5 requires calibration at specified intervals. A calibration schedule is the simplest way to demonstrate compliance — it shows auditors that you track due dates and act on them. ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026, and organisations certified to ISO 9001:2015 have until 30 September 2029 to transition (ISO/TC 176 transition guidance); clause references here use the 2015 numbering that existing certificates were granted against.
